I have read some of this author's romance novels and really enjoyed them, but this is different and even better, really well-written. There is still a lovely romance, but it doesn't take centre stage. Some of the characters were so real they could have walked out of my life and onto the pages. There were incidents that made me laugh out loud and others than made me wince in recognition. I loved the descriptions of coffee and food, and the atmosphere of Sydney, where the book is set. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an easy-to-read story that sill has heart and meaning.
