(More customer reviews)We have used the Micheline Guide for over 8 trips to the country side in France primarily for restaurants and secondarily for hotels. We have enjoyed many wonderful meals in places we would not have otherwise found. The book is easy to use and offers very useful information. The standards for rating restaurants and hotels are consistent and can be relied upon. It can be heavy to travel with and we are hopeful it will become available electronically soon!Michelin Red Guide France 2011: Hotels and Restaurants (French Edition)

MICHELIN Guide France 2011 helps travelers find great places to eat and stay, with obsessively-researched recommendations to more than 4,600 hotels and inns, and 3,400 restaurants. This guide, updated annually, appeals to all tastes and budgets. Local, anonymous, professional inspectors carefully select restaurants, using the celebrated Michelin food star-rating system. The guide is not a directory-only the best make the cut; so travelers can feel confident in their choices. While minimal text is in French, easily recognizable international symbols convey a wealth of information.
