Lists a lot of good places in a range of prices. With full-page review for each restaurant, you get a real sense of each restaurant. ("Mesquite-grilled quail" lets me both the foodie sophistication of a menu and its ambience and price.)There are NO ratings in the book, so if you're looking the top five restaurants in town, they may be here, but they aren't singled out. The book does have multiple indexes, however.
Four stars from me because it's not comprehensive. Still worthwhile.I see the Zagat Arizona restaurant guide was published in 1989! So this must be the current best choice.
