(More customer reviews)For a vegan, this book was a revelation. After hours of trying to find vegan-friendly accommodation and eateries in Britain, this one book let us know that we are not alone. In fact it told us that there are many thousands like us in the British hospitality field. We found vegetarian accommodation all over London, with tariffs that were amazing!. We booked a lunch in Avebury on our way through to Wales. The story was same for most places that we intended to visit. If there wasn't vegan-friendly lodgings, there was always at least two vegetarian restaurants nearby. Our search was over, the stress eliminated. Of course there were entries that were out-of-date, as you would expect with a book that dates back to the 1990s and was most recently updated in 2002. But on the whole, it gave us what we needed, and made the trip much more pleasant. If there were such a book for every country, we'd probably travel even more.
