(More customer reviews)This is a terrific guide to restaurants and hotels in France as long as you can read French. Unlike the Michelin guide, it offers witty and sometimes biting commentary on all things French. It tends also to be ahead of the game in rewarding new chefs. The maps are also terrific particularly for out of the way places. The visual notations are helpful for non-French speakers but you really miss all the commentary.
