(More customer reviews)This is a great book for exploring the Philadelphia area, whether you have a dog or not. It covers not only center city Philadelphia (including the many dog-friendly parks, restaurants and hotels therein) but it also fully covers the city's many neighborhoods, suburbs and even day-trips from town. Also, you know the author really visited all these places by the accurate and precise descriptions, and she isn't afraid to tell you the real deal or warn you away from a place you and your doggie shouldn't visit. I'd recommend it to Philly locals, as well as families and visitors as a complement to any other travel guide.
