(More customer reviews)Though I have not read the actual book, I have seen many of the unprocessed photos L.L.C. has taken during this project. It goes to say a lot when even unmeddled photographs are beautiful, gripping, and poignant images of natural life.

Lisa has just completed a three-month journey in the field with more than one thousand hours logged, two jars of Jiffy peanut butter consumed, more than ten thousand miles driven and hiked, and over thirty thousand images taken to document daily life in the marsh, two including bald eagle nests and eaglets' special relationship with their parents. A poignant, true story about the struggle for survival, the bond between lifetime mates, and the parents devotion to raising their young. Heavily illustrated, this daily journal of an author-photographer covering an outdoor beat, is both a documentary and an inspirational journey.
