I have been following Adrian Leed's restaurant guide since 2001 when it was only available in print form. The tips she give are great and, as she promises, you will eat very well for a lot less money. Most of the establisments she recommends are not frequented by tourits but by real Parisiens who know the best places to eat. And don't worry - most of the waiters in Paris speak at least a little English so don't shy away if your French is not fluent or non-existant. What makes this Guide even better is that you can load it onto you Ipod, Ipad, Kendle etc and have it with you where ever you are in Paris. So instead of planning you day around your choice of resturant, just open the guide and find out what is close to your exact location when you are ready to eat. She gives the phone number, website, and email address so if you want to call ahead for reservations it is all there. With this new electronic form, she has included a google map feature that makes it incredibly easy to find the place you are looking for. It is all right there in a snap! At $3.00 for the elctronic down-load you would be crazy not to buy it. I have both forms - the printable form so I can brows at my leisure and the electronic form for when I am on the run. I didn't think the guide could be any better but this newest version is amazing!!!

Adrian Leeds Top 100 Cheap Insider Paris RestaurantsYou don't need to be rich to dine well - you just need to be in the know!I began writing this guide in 1996, not long after I moved to Paris as a permanent resident and ferreting out charming, little out-of-the-way places where tourists likely won't find easily, but to which the locals flock. It is often the simple, hole-in-the-wall, mom-pop restaurants that serve the best food at the most reasonable prices...and they are getting harder and harder to find in today's modern world. When you're a tourist on holiday you will often end up eating in the touristy spots that are convenient - and you'll often be disappointed. But carry this guide with you in the City of Light, and no matter where you are at any given moment you'll be able to find great French restaurants (and sometimes other kinds of cuisine) not far from where you are - so you won't have to waste one single precious meal on bad food in the city we love most - Paris!Bon Appétit!
