(More customer reviews)I enjoyed reading this book. Tineke's Africa is beautifully evoked and the characters we meet immediately engrossing. Her story of the trials of trying to setup and maintain a successful business venture in Africa demonstrate the difficulties of such a task in a country that operates so differently to the West. It is a story of idealism becoming pragmatism. However the book is most interesting as an exploration of character and place.
